March Madness

Put on your wetsuits and jump into the Dads Club March Madness pool! Not a college basketball expert? Who cares! It's a fundraiser for the Dads Club and anyone can win.

Create a Bracket: ESPN Tournament Challenge, Password: WildcatWednesday

Cost: $50 entry fee with payouts to the top 3 bracket owners

Date: Brackets and payments are due by Wednesday, 3/15/23 at 11:59pm

Warriors Game

The Dads Club is organizing a Warriors game outing on Sunday Feb 26th 4:30pm vs Minnesota Timberwolves at Chase Center. We have 34 seats reserved in sections 217-219 at a group rate of $90 flat cost per ticket.

Spring Softball - Family Pizza Night

Dads Club softball starts up in early February for the Spring season.

We mixed up the teams and added a few new players for this season. Will the Wildkittens take home another Championship or will the reimagined Wildcats team reclaim their glory?

Join us this Tuesday, the 31st at the Burlingame High School baseball field for a scrimmage between the two Washington teams as we shake off the rust.

The Dads Club will be supplying pizza dinner and drinks for the kids starting at 5:45pm. First come, first served, so don't be late!

Wildcat Waltz

The Dads Club is thrilled to once again host the Wildcat Waltz for the whole school! Dust off your fancy clothes and dancing shoes for an evening of fun and community building in the MPR.  All Wildcats are welcome.

Date: Saturday Feb 4th, 6 - 8:30pm

Location: Washington MPR

Theme: Winter Wonderland

Cost: Free, but donations welcome. $20 recommended donation per family

A parent or chaperone needs to be on campus with any student that attends. 

As a reminder, the event is for Washington students and no alcohol is allowed on campus.

Harlem Globetrotters Game

Come catch the Globetrotters game with the Dads Club on Sunday Jan 15th at Chase center. Game starts at noon. We invited the 4th and 5th grade Washington basketball teams as well as the greater Dads Club community. 

If you would like to join us, click HERE and purchase your tickets. We are targeting section 117 with section 116 as a back up if seats in 117 sell out.

Teacher Appreciation

The Dads Club will be providing our teachers and staff a very special holiday treat of coffee and pastries from Bonjour Bakehouse. This will be a nice way to show our appreciation and wish them all a Happy Holidays.

Building Tables for the Cat Cafe

The school ordered a dozen new round tables for the kids to use, but they needed help putting them together. So, the Dads Club stepped up and assembled the tables so the kids could start using them.

Used Sports Equipment Swap

We all know how quickly kids grow out of their sports equipment. It's time to clean out the garage and bring all of your gently used equipment to the school and let a smaller, younger Wildcat adopt it and give it a good home. 

Baseball gloves, bats, helmets, and gear. Tennis rackets, footballs, soccer balls, volleyballs and and nets. Skateboards, scooters, bicycles. Anything that someone else can use is fair game.  

Date: November 3rd & 4th, 3-4pm, immediately after school

Cost: No cost. We do ask that parents supervise what the kids pick out to make sure there is an equitable distribution of items. No hoarding.

Poker Tournament

Join us for a Texas Hold-em style poker tournament. We will start with multiple tables and narrow them down as people drop out.

All skill levels welcome, please don't think you're not good enough to come play and have a good time, you will be fine.

Gold Rush Trip

The Wildcats have spoken and we want this trip to happen! Join us September 24th and 25th for a weekend trip that combines 4th grade California history with a fun California experience: Panning for gold and white water rafting!

All of the details are laid out in this document and the NEW RSVP Form but here's the short version:

We realize this is short notice, so please reserve your spot as quickly as possible by filling out the NEW RSVP Form for us. We need to get a rough estimate of numbers ASAP so we can book group rates if possible. Don't miss out on what we hope will become a new Wildcat tradition!

Back to School Picnic

Join the entire Washington community on Friday September 16th at Washington Park for the return of the Back 2 School Picnic!

This is a PTA sponsored event, but the Dads Club will be running the grill. 

ASK FOR HELP: We need a few guys to volunteer to help manage the event with the PTA, take shifts on the grill, and help with general set up and clean up.  Please open THIS VOLUNTEER SHEET and let us know how you can help make this an AMAZING event!

First Dads Club Meeting of the Year

Join us at The Barrelhouse this Thursday the 15th for our first meeting of the year. We will socialize, talk about some of the events we're planning for the year, have a few drinks, and set the stage for how we are going to deliver on "The Year of Fun" for everyone in the Washington community.

Cats vs Kittens Softball Family Night

The Fall season is in full swing and both teams are playing inspired softball! The highly anticipated head to head battle is early this year, it will be Tuesday September 13th, 6:45 game time.


The entire Washington community is invited to come out to the Bayside fields and watch the two Washington Dads teams live out their Field of Dreams glory moments. It's going to be an epic battle to prove who owns the softball diamond!
